A Mystery Solved

LOL...if I don't quit using Miss Penny as my PSP tag model, I think she's gonna start charging me.

I've gotten the mystery of the spots in my digital pics solved.  Of course, this was after I had performed a whole house exorcism carrying a cross and telling the spirits to depart to the other side.

Actually, Becky solved the mystery for me.  She wanted me to send her the pics I took on Easter.  I sent her the edited versions.  She wanted me to transfer the unedited versions so she could put them through her own program.  One pic, in particular, was totally filled with those little orbs.  Everywhere...all over her black sweater, my mom's walls, etc.  I sent her that one also.  She sent me a link to Olympus cameras that addressed this problem....they say it looks like water spots.  What is it?  Dust spots...you know like when you have sun shining in a window and you see those little specks of dust floating around.  Well, the flash picks up dust particles and magnifies them at certain angles.  No cure for the problem at this time.  It doesn't happen all the time either.  The best thing to do is take a pic from many angles.  It doesn't show up on the camera resolution screen.  It shows up when transferred to the computer.  They even had a picture of one of the orby things.

This is the small version.  I enlarged the whole picture.  It looked just like what I'm experiencing.  No ghosts in my house.  But I did crack up because my mom is a total clean freak.  She would croak if she saw how many dust specks were floating around her place.  Way more than mine, which she is always white gloving.

Gas prices...grrrrr....$3.09 a gallon.  Another grrr for me was I was wanted to send a greeting card from 123Greetings.  I use this website all the time.  Not tonight.  Every time I tried to preview a card....freeze....and I had to get out of AOL.

Work....yuck...and I'm working OT tomorrow; not because I love the place but do need the time and a half.

So, I'm bouncing back.  Just so many changes this month.  My BF signed his retirement papers again.  It's official.  Our personnel actions come out of Baltimore.  They called him today and said he is officially retired.  He can use the remainder of his sick leave if he desires to do so.  He is coming to work on Thurs for a small retirement celebration; very small, by choice.  Now, I'm really wishing I was out of there.  Of course, I was snapping pics on my camera phone today of my BF and all his friends.  I just have to figure out how the heck to get them on here.  I'm hoping to get to Verizon on Sunday.  I'm thinking I'll take my real camera on Thursday.  He's been there 33 years so there are some long time friends to take pictures of.

I've been reading journals tonight.  Now I must get myself ready for bed.  Have a good evening all!

(Thanks, Penny!   You sold of picture of me to glitterkiss, now didn't you?)

Lol, Chris... I see you found an old picture of me when my hair was so long. ROFL.  :0)  Yep, I sure did snag your pic and sold it to Glitterkiss. Nice dress! :)
Well, back to reality...can`t wait to see some of the pics you`ve been taking.  Dust spots.... Not ghosts or ghouls? My dog loves those spots...you know how you see them when the sun comes through a window? She tries to catch them. So cute! I hope work goes well for you tomorrow, hon.
Hugs,
Penny

Weird thing about the Orbs!  There are sites about hauntings that show Orbs that look like that!  Glad you don't have any ghosts LOL!
Have a good evening.

Love your tag you made with Penny's pic. lol  Great job.  About the camera phone, I had to go to my service website and download the software then hook it up using a USB cord that they gave me with it.  It's pretty easy but my phone is starting to get worn out and the cord doesn't work so good anymore. I have to play with it for a few to get it to connect with the computer.  sorry you have to work tomorrow but try to enjoy the rest of your weekend anyway.  Love ya, Shelly
P.S.  I cannot believe I didn't guess this week's mystery member.  I could kick myself when I went back and read the interview again. lol

Chris,
I'm glad you have solved the little "orb" issue. I would hate to have you take pictures in my house.  The relative humidity is very seldom over 20 percent and usually below 10 percent in the winter.  I have always wondered which agency you worked for.  I have picked up a clue.  Would the presonnel department be in Woodlawn, perhaps?  Maybe at the eastern end of I-70?  Just wondering.  David

If you watch the show Ghost Hunters, you'll hear Jason say quite frequently that he isn't impressed by orbs because they're mostly dust. Glad to hear your house isn't haunted hun! LOL

Love the tags you had in this entry Chris.  They remind me of me.  I am not sure if I quite understand the whole story about work and your boyfriend and why your mad.  All I know is if your mad, then I am.  Maybe send me an e-mail or something just to get my up to par.  Love ya, KJ

Interesting info on the orbs.   Kinda bursts the bubble so to speak.  LOL I liked thinking they were something  little more exciting than dust.  Hee Hee. Well, I hope your BF can enjoy his retirement.  We have been thinking about Rich retiring, but he says he can't because of me needing the medical.  Take care and enjoy the rest of your weekend.
