No Work Today for Me

I've solved the mystery of my overall blah/tired feeling this past week.  Yep, the crud is back full force.  I'm sort of relieved in a way because I was seriously thinking of checking myself in to a psych ward.  I decided no way to OT this morning.  It's an hour commute each way and no bus on Sat. so I would have to drive.  I'm crying over the loss of wages but seriously need some time off.  Wednesday we had to go to Joey's doctor's appt. in Pittsburgh (PGH is the abbreviation that I always use and I realize now that it's not a well known abbreviation.)  I never seem to have any time for anything anymore.  When I am home, I don't feel like doing what I have to.

My house looks like its ready to explode/implode or both.  And tomorrow is the first stage of moving Megan.  I'm hoping to get at least a few things done around here today because I noticed that there's some major weed whacking to be done.  My son hates the electric weed whacker and fusses continuously about it.  Once in a while, they let him bring the gas one home from his job which he will use.  Otherwise, I end up whacking away while he cuts the north forty.

Tomorrow is supposed to be lovely here again so I'm hoping to get some pictures of Megan's campus and house.  Keeping my fingers crossed that this is a 24 hr bug I have.

Have a great weekend!!!!!  (Sick tatty tag created by Jenn for me in my PSP group...bottom tatty's creator watermarked Barbie; snagged by me through my group.)

Hi Chris!   No guilt trip!  You need the rest. All the money in the world is not going to help you if you get permanently sick! That's why I gave up the bank. YES, I miss that little paycheck (not nearly enough for all that responsibility), but I could also see 2 months in the bed again in my near future if I didn't give it up.  I've found my health is more important to me than extra money.  It's tight, but I have to do it this way.  I need more referrals!  :):)

Love your little bear drinking his hot toddy!   Get some rest!

Love and Hugs

you feel better and you know sometimes  you just need to chill and take it easy. Go ahead and don't feel bad at all. Hugs.

You need to rest and not feel guilty about it.  Find a few good movies on TV, make something good to drink and chill!  Sometimes your body and mind just need a day, or sometimes a few days, to just rest.  It's good for you.

Feel better real soon. I hear ya' on the psych ward tho.  Vacation/padded cell--they're practically interchangeable. LMAO  Love your graphics too.  So sweet.  May tomorrow be sunny and you feel like a new woman.  Barb

I am up early this morning and it is raining in S. Illinois.    Just got my dog out for a few minutes and he is curled up now resting.   My property is turning to a surrounding of green as full spring is in session.    I hope you get to feeling better.   mark

Oh no, Chris...sorry to hear that you`re sick. I love the tag, even though it means you`re not feeling well. I know you`ll miss the extra OT money, but you must take care of yourself. lol, I don`t think you`re ready for the psych ward just yet! I hope Megan`s move goes well. Feel better soon. :)
Love and hugs,
Penny
