I have zilch Labor Day graphics, imagine that? Labor Day is a very important day in my life, though not what most would expect. 23 years ago on Labor Day, September 5, 1983, I had just given birth to my son, Joey. I don't have a scanner. Lisa Jo sent me this tag which amazingly looks much like my son did as a baby.
to my my one and only son a day early.
I am going to post two links to entries that I made in the past 11 months dedicated to Joey. Forgive me as I know it's time consuming to read the links and also because some have read these entries previously. The first is my all time favorite entry. I have read it many times over and still burst into tears each time. A Christmas Story
The second link was an entry I did for Joey when I first started my journal. I did an entry for each of my three children at that time. They constantly argue over who they think is my favorite. I did entries so they could read and understand that all three hold special; yet different places in my heart. Joe

Goodness....first i cried at the story about Joe and your dad and then i read the Christmas one and now i am a blubbering idiot.......
You are such a GOOD mom, Chris. We all make huge mistakes, some that hurt those we love, but your soul is in these three kids of yours and they know you love them beyond words. Joe is special, i can tell. Boys are like that to us moms. He sounds so awesome, like he has a heart of gold and i am so proud of you both for how far you have come. For the rest of my life i will think of him when i hear of Teddy Ruxpin.
I did that to my mom once...begged and begged my 9th year of life for a Green Machine.....i never wanted anything so much in my life. She of course did not get it. She forgot. So, i am so happy you got that for him!

I hope they get the alerts fixed soon. I miss getting the notice about your posts. Sooooo.....should we talk football yet? I'll be watching the Steelers. Maybe there will be another matchup between the Broncos and the Steelers again this year!!! LOL I think it is way to early to even think about that!
