The Tree

Wow, I'm popping out the entries.  I got my tree up and took a picture or 20...lol.  My camera sucks or else it's the picture taker (moi) who doesn't know how to read directions.  Not surprising because Joey had to give me a lesson with my new car today.  I still didn't know how to use half the stuff on it.  Anyway, the tree is up and lit.  I put these stick things of berries in it because Mocha is fascinated with shiny beads and shiny garland and would drag the tree to kingdom come if I put anything shiny on it.

I got my collection of snowmen out and put them out in the living room and bought a small fibre optic tree to stick on the end table in there.  My son likes that one because it's colorful and the lights flash like crazy.  I also had to get a new tree skirt because Grizzly thinks they are his blankies and nestles in them every year.

So, it's beginning to look a little bit like Christmas here finally although I'm still not used to a small, not live tree.

Uh oh, I see a kitty under the tree who looks like she's up to no good.  Later......

Thanks, Angela, Dazzling Designs, and owner of my PSP group for the tag above.

Oh I love your tree and the tree skirt.  I collect Santa's and that would be perfect.  It's hard to keep the cats out of the trees.

Pets and trees just don't seem to go together in my house either! I hope yours survive the pets! Laughed at Grizzly using the skirt as his blankie! Hope he's doing well now after his recent op. The tree looks very pretty.  I miss not decorating one since we bought our fibre optic but with little fingers it is for the best.  Becky did their tree and the boys are constantly stripping it of baubles lol

Oh, you took a pretty photo of your tree.  I got a laugh out of Grizzley thinking the cloth around the trees is for him.  Just like a dog.  I finally got feeling a little energy today to visit journals. Before that it was blah blah.  Well, I will read some more while I am here and try to catch up.   Gerry

What a lovely tree.  Never having had a cat, I can only imagine what they can do to a Christmas tree.  LOL My only fear is Frodo, who has been known to hike his leg just  about anywhere will one day hike it on a present. LOL So far so good. (I THINK) I think this is our 3rd Christmas with him.  Hope you're enjoying your new car....do you know how it operates now?  LOL  J/K

Hi Chris, Your tree is so pretty.  The camera is actually pretty good.  I just got a new one last week because mine took orange pics.  (Now that would make any tree look sick!)  I can have the tree experience through you.  I haven't put one up since 1997.  I do decorate the house though.  We leave before X-mas and have a tree where we go.  Aaahhh   :)
