Monday

Not a bad day for a Monday.  Maybe I'm getting used to my work schedule or maybe summer is fading fast so I don't mind being at work.  Fall is beautiful but fall also means that days are getting shorter and winter is coming...yuck.

So I tagged myself for the last remants of summer in Pa. Feel free to snag it if you want. We only had about a month of summer weather this year so I feel short changed.  Sheesh...I do love summer; always have.

I'm moved into Megan's room.  I had intentions of taking some pictures but the room is not quite tidy yet.  There are still remnants of Megan everywhere.  I don't seem to be making much headway.  I was going to take a picture of my old room with the Disney babies but the blinds are filthy yuck.  A drawback of working everyday is I don't get anything fully done around this house.

I think my vacation in the fall will be a thorough declutter and housecleaning.  Fun...hunh...but needed.  Hopefully, I'll have my old room turned into the guest room.  Hint, hint, Penny.  Fall means art festivals in Pittsburgh so Becky tells me.

I don't like my digital camera.  I keep getting those "dust" spots.  It is totally annoying me so maybe I'll have to ask Santa Claus for a new one again this year. Lisa Jo....e-mail and let me know what camera you have coz I love your pics.

Megan called today and, of all things, does not have enough money for books if she pays her rent.  I told her to call her dad.  Of course, I have no expectations with that one.  He sent her $20 last year.  Her loan won't go through for at least a week.

At least there is a long weekend coming up.  Sheesh, I'm so tired all the time.

                        Daughter #2, Miss Megan.......

I'm off to find some clean clothes to wear tomorrow.  Night everyone!

Thanks, Missie, for the cute siggy!

I have a sneaking feeling that this week is gonna suck a bit, lol. I am half dead sick and you are tired....let me get on my magic broom and come over and get you and we can go to some tropical paradise and have no problems and drink drinks with little umbrellas and have huge bank accounts. Sound cool?

LOVE YOU
lj

You are dreading winter.... I can't wait for it to arrive.  My electricity bill was a few dollars short of 400.00.  That is just outrageously ridiculous!  I see no end to this summertime weather until the middle or end of October.  We have no autumn weather in California.  We go directly from Summer to Winter (only winters feels like fall), and then we cut past Spring and go directly to Summer again! :(  It sucks!  I never wear a sweater at night, because it rarely goes below 55 degrees.   What is a coat?  I don't even own one! lol
Am I whining in  YOUR journal, Chris!  That is just wrong! lol

Hugs,
jackie

Yes, summer is fading quickly.  and you know something...I have been having to fork out all kinds of cash for school for this or that...always something!  I can just imagine how it will be when they are college.  Poor Chris!  Hang in there...maybe it will all pay off someday.  Have a great week!  Hugs and GBU, Shelly

Love the graphic.  I know what you mean about summer being nearly over. I can't believe it's almost Labor Day...time for summer's last blast. Believe me I've been hit up for book money more than once. Then when her GI money didn't come through she hit me up for a grand.  LOL Not funny, but if I don't laugh I'll cry. :)  So...enjoy the rest of your summer.  Megan is a looker!!

I hope you get a camera that you enjoy.  Good luck with the switching of the rooms.  I should do that!  I've got a bath room off of my bedroom that would be perfect for a guest.  Hope you have a good Tuesday. Glad you're getting used to your job.  We started working at the same time.  You are lucky it's worked out for you.
Have a good night...................Pamela

Yes, summer is definitely at an end over here unless we get an Indian one but that is not forecast at the moment.

I have to go through my closets. I am thinking of having a yard sale and it's a good way to get rid of stuff that I seem to always want to keep knowing I don't need it.
