Scavenger Hunt - Drink

Now I don't want all of you to think I'm a lush but I do like good, stout, dark beer.

The above is a gourmet selection I bought at Christmas.  It's a sampler from Pennsylvania Brewery or Penn Brewery in Pittsburgh.  It's an ancient brewery that was recently revived as a restaurant (great food) and microbrewery.  Now, they are branching out and actually selling the beer.

When Joey and I were in Fla. this past summer, I got Penn Pilsner on tap.  The Oktoberfest and St. Nikolaus Bach are outstanding.

(Yeah, Steelers!)  Had to add that.  It's sort of a double-edged sword though because Indy's coach, Tony Dungy, played for the Steelers years ago and is such a class act.  His youngest son commit suicide this year right before Christmas.  He looked so bad today.  My prayers go out to the Dungy family.

thanks for playing - great entry :)

I like beer with pizza in the summer.

Yeah Steelers too! That was a game, wasn't it! I was on the edge of my seat a lot in that second half.

I felt so sorry for Tony Dungy. He did look so bad; so tired, so grief stricken. I was hoping in a way that their team would win so that he could have something to concentrate on for a few more weeks perhaps, but maybe its time to let him grieve, know what I mean?

Chris,  You would fit right in with the Sunshine group.  Most of my neighbors brew their own.  It should be an good game next Sunday.  David.

Not a beer drinker(make mine bourbon) but cheers!
I am so sad for Coach Dungy.  He's been a favorite of mine for years.  I don't know how he's doing it.  I had a feeling things were going to go to @#$% for Indy after his son's suicide.  I'm sure it affected the entire organization.

I'm always thinking I need to try more beers to find one I like.
Great choice!
