Some things I'm pondering on this morning:

Why do I wake up on the days I don't have to work way earlier than I would on a normal work day?  Especially since I didn't fall asleep until well after midnight last night....

I actually enjoyed a quiet evening at home, by myself, sans kid (son) and didn't even have any desire to go out anywhere or any desire to do anything more than a couple loads of laundry (plus parked my butt, once again, at this computer).

I'm pondering the thought of going to the Walmart Supercenter very soon...LOL..to do my weekly or should I say bi-weekly shopping and beat the crowds.  It would be nice to zip through the store and not have to stand in a line.

But, I'm also being drawn to Target so I may have to wait until Target opens so I can kill two birds with one stone.

I've come to the conclusion that I hate to do housework on Saturdays...not that I like it any other day...but I think Saturday is a wind down day.

My 22 year old son is a slob...sorry you guys with little ones...they just don't get any better.  He thinks the family room floor is his hamper.  He's dazed and confused about what he wants to do with his life (uh..get a job).  He is job hunting and since his seasonal job ended he is the official recipient of the "honey-do" list.  He fought it tooth and nail for about a month.  The $3.00 left in his checking account made him see the light.  He's back to getting an allowance for chores...LOL

I actually paid him to leave last night and go out with his friends so I would have the house to myself.  I didn't want a permanent fixture on the recliner clutching that damned remote.

So, I say, Joey, what do you want for dinner tomorrow nite (Sunday).  Uh, I don't know.  Surprise me.  How muchya wanna bet he won't like my surprise..drives me nuts.  Tell me what you want to eat or cook for yourself.......actually he can cook...I don't get home until 7:00 in the evening so he either cooks or would wither away.  Just do the darned dishes....which he will end up doing anyway because that will be on his list.

Baby, my youngest, will be coming home for Thanksgiving break in 11 days.  The countdown is starting.  For some reason, she loves to call me on Friday at work to drop her bombshells. Whoo, she has a long Thanksgiving break but Thank God she will be working....that one best get a very good job because she is high maintenance.

My oldest, lovingly called the Mouth, called yesterday because she was having computer problems....still shaking my head on this one...she is the one who troubleshoots my computer problems and she called me?  She also called me at work Friday to ask me if I would buy her an IPod Shuffle for Christmas...LOL..what's that????

November and the leaves are still on the trees in western Pa.?  Very odd....a few have fallen but the trees should be bare.  Not that I'm complaining.  I hate drab.  And such warm weather...God must be sparing us from turning on the furnace.

This coming Friday is Veterans Days...so say a prayer for those serving right now and salute those who have served our country no matter what we feel about the politics of this country...freedom is priceless........

It is soooo cold in Minnesota.  It is like 40 degrees here and the leaves are all off the trees.  The heat is on one day and then can be turned off the next.  I need to move and get to somewhere else.  I do the same thing.  When I have to get up for work I am SOOOOOOOO tired, but then I am up on my day off anyway and wide awake.  Wierd...

First off , I too am spending too much time in front of the computer sice I started journaling. I'm thinking of sueing AOL for Wide Ass Disease, hey if it worked for the Mc Donalds lady its worth a shot. Second, If you buy an I pod next you'll have to buy all the music for it.

My brother is getting $ for chores right now too....
I agree with the weather thing.  It feels so weird to see Christmas commercials with snow when it's 90 degress outside.  It's supposed to cool down here in the next few days (all relative, of course) to the upper 70's.
